The Morning Two Tank Dive is a Kauai scuba diving tour for experienced certified divers with at least 15 logged dives. Guests should feel comfortable diving from a boat and exploring deeper waters up to 100 feet.
First, the tour usually begins with a drift dive in the 80- to 100-foot range. Then, the second dive typically takes place at a site around 60 to 70 feet deep. The crew chooses the dive sites on the day of the tour based on current ocean conditions and water quality.
Possible dive sites include Brennecke's Ledge, Fastlanes, Ice Box, General Store and Sheraton Caverns. Along the way, divers may see rare black coral, boarfish, moray eels, Hawaiian green sea turtles and whitetip reef sharks.
This Kauai scuba diving experience is best for certified divers who want deeper boat dives and a more advanced morning schedule. The tour is offered by Seasport Divers, a Kauai dive operator that leads guided scuba tours for different experience levels.
