Luau Kalamaku is a popular Kauai luau located just outside Lihue on the tropical grounds of historic Kilohana Plantation. This evening experience combines cultural activities, island games, an imu ceremony, buffet dinner, open bar and a theatrical Polynesian show.
First, guests can enjoy arts and crafts demonstrations, Hawaiian games and time around the plantation grounds. Then, the evening continues with the imu ceremony, where guests learn about the traditional Hawaiian cooking method used for kalua pork.
After that, guests enjoy a buffet dinner with island-style dishes, live music and hula. The main show, Kalamaku, features dancers, entertainers, fire dancing, music and storytelling. This Kauai luau is a good choice for visitors who want dinner, culture and a high-energy stage production in one evening.

Hawaiian Luau Package: The Luau Kalamaku Hawaiian Luau Package includes standard seating.
Silver Luau Package: The Silver Luau Package includes elevated seating for a better view of the Luau Kalamaku show. This seating option brings guests closer to the music, dancing and storytelling of the performance.
Gold Luau Package: Luau Kalamaku's Gold Package includes premium seating. Guests sit close to the stage and can feel the energy from the famous fire dancers.

If you are on the south or west side of Kauai, head EAST. Kilohana Plantation is located directly after the Kauai Community College on the left-hand side of the road. Look for the white picket fence. The luau is located next to the Kauai Plantation Railway station at the far left end of the parking lot.
Transportation add-on: Transportation is roundtrip and per person. Depending on the location, pick-up is between 3:30 pm and 4:45 pm. Exact times will be emailed to you. If you are not staying at one of the locations listed below, pick-up will be at the closest location to where you are staying.
