Outfitters Kauai - Wailua Waterfall Kayak
The Wailua Waterfall Kayak tour is a guided Kauai kayak adventure on the Wailua River, the only navigable river in Hawaii. Paddle a spacious tandem ruddered kayak through Wailua River State Park and into Kauai's lush rainforest scenery. Along the way, enjoy calm river views, tropical greenery and a peaceful setting that makes this tour a memorable island outing.
After the river paddle, guests land their kayaks and begin a one-mile hike through the rainforest. The trail passes the remains of ancient Hawaiian home sites, adding cultural interest to the adventure. Then, continue to a beautiful 120-foot waterfall, where you can relax by the swimming hole or cool off in the refreshing water.
This Wailua Waterfall Kayak experience also includes a picnic lunch before the return hike and paddle. Lunch options include a turkey watercress wrap or a Mediterranean veggie wrap, plus a chocolate chip cookie. Cold drinks are available throughout the day.
