First, the flight begins over the southern part of Kauai. You’ll see the ancient Menehune Fishpond and Waita Reservoir, the largest freshwater reservoir in Hawaii. Then, the route continues toward old Waimea town, where you can view the area connected to Captain Cook’s landing.
