The Shore Dive is a Kauai scuba diving tour at historic Koloa Landing, also known as Whalers Cove, on Kauai's south shore. Guests can choose either a one- or two-tank dive, making this a flexible option for both certified and non-certified divers.
First, your instructor will provide a briefing with details about safety, equipment and marine life you may see during the dive. Then, you will enter the water from shore and explore one of Kauai’s well-known dive sites. Koloa Landing has been recognized as one of the best shore dives in the Pacific by Scuba Diving Magazine.
The dive site features coral formations, tropical fish and a wide variety of marine life. For certified divers, this shore dive offers an easy way to enjoy Kauai’s underwater scenery without a boat trip. For non-certified divers, it serves as an introductory scuba experience, so it is a good choice for guests who want to try diving for the first time.
This Kauai scuba diving experience is led by a PADI, SSI or NAUI diving instructor. The tour is offered by Seasport Divers, a Kauai dive operator that provides guided scuba tours for different skill levels.
